My name is Joseph Price and I am an Atlanta based recording and mixing engineer. I have done recording work in Georiga, Los Angeles, and London, and when working in Georgia I am usually found in Tree Sound Studios’ “Studio A”. However, I also enjoy recording at other state staples such as 800 East, Tweed Recording, and Studio 1093. I got my start in live sound which forced me to learn quick to keep the shows rolling. That decisive foundation carried well into the studios, where time is money, and allowed for both a quality product and an efficient product.
I have the privilege of working under Kevin Pergantis who is a well respected engineer in Atlanta and Los Angeles. Kevin learned directly from two great engineers, Dan Wallin and Michael Aarvold, and is passing down their knowledge and experience to me. The majority of my solo engineering work is composed of local rock groups and live instrumentation in general. I love being able to take a song from a rough demo, to a quality master, and then even to the live stage to provide a complete sonic package to each artist I work with.
